If its a dedicated sound card try refitting it.

Guys check the default audio device in control panel. Does that help troubleshoot? Tried multiple Realtek drivers and nothing works. For the sake of 30 quid and you know it’s going to work and give you miles better sound than on-board audio I didn’t see it as too big a deal. I tried Realtek Digital Output as default, but that doesn’t work either. Has anyone had the same problem or can anybody please help? Abit IPE with Windows 7 x86 no sound playback I can’t seem to paste the image, but it has the 2nd and 4th items from your screen with second Speakers as the default. Also if the above seems OK try uninstalling the realtek driver and allow windows update to get the proper version.
If its an integrated card make sure its enabled in the bios. I really appreciate the help.
The time now is Back to square 1. Updated all drivers, bios is correct, realtek 2. I’m having the same problem.
